Guidance
Identify what is explicit (named roles, defined steps, listed outputs) vs. implicit (assumed knowledge, undocumented actors, unstated constraints).
Capture findings in an "Implicit Items" section at the top of the Extraction Worksheet:
- What roles/agents are assumed but unnamed?
- What prerequisite knowledge or tools are assumed?
- What constraints are implied but not stated?
These flags prime the EKN extraction steps — implicit items need active inference, not just transcription. Without this record they evaporate between PIN and EKN.
